Some preventive measures are also recommended to prevent the penetration of pests into your homes. Ensure your house is fully pest-repellent, starting from its exterior. The wall of your fence should be smoothly plastered as this will make it difficult for snakes to crawl over. Ensure your roof tiles are all undamaged and intact, as this provides a perfect gateway for the entrance of pests. Regularly check the back of your cupboards and pantries where food is stored for signs of nibbling, gnawing and droppings, to detect problems early on. Seal off any holes in your doors and cracks in walls which could provide an entrance from outside. Keep a lid on your bins at all times, and all food kept in containers. Clean your kitchen regularly to remove any food particles. Avoid creating a damp, humid and  dark corners to prevent termites .

BEWARE OF SNAKE

MOST REPTILES WOULD FIND IT DIFFICULT TO JUMP OR ENTER INTO THE WC FROM WITHIN. THE EASIEST INLET IS ALWAYS FROM THE CONCRATES CHAMBERS AT THE BACKS OF THE HOUSE THROUGH WHICH SEWAGE PIPES GET CONNECTED AND THROUGH CRACKS, UNDER THE DOORS AND CREVICS SNAKE LIKES TO HIDE INSIDE WC CHAMBERS TO COOL IT'S BODY WITH THE FLUSHING WATER DURING HOT WEATHER , AND FOR SAFETY. SOMETIMES WHEN IN SEARCH OF FOOD, IT MAY PURSUE RATS/RODENTS INTO THE CHAMBERS AT THE BACK OF YOUR HOUSE OR EVEN THE SOAK-AWAY PIT. IT STAYS THERE AFTER KILLING/SWALLOWING THE RATS AND TURN THE PLACE TO AN ABODE. FINALLY IT CRAWS THROUGH THE CONNECTING PVC PIPES INTO THE WC FOR MORE ADVENTURES AND FOOD INSIDE THE HOUSE. ANY OBJECT ON THE WC MAY LOOK LIKE FOOD AND COULD BE A VICTIM Image result for snakes
